12 Week challenge


Do you need a new workout challenge??? Mix things up?


 Starting February 1st, 2016 and Finish April 25, 2016


Attempt to:
  • 70 workouts
  • walk/jog 26.2 miles (equal to a full marathon)
  • ride a century -100 miles
  • log a food journal twice a week


Additional Challenges:


Mini Challenge #1 (Week 9, Mar 28th-Apr 3rd) - '10K Your Way'  During the week you need to walk, jog or run a 10K or 6.2 miles.  This can be done in one shot or you can break it up into two 5Ks.  You can complete this outside or on the treadmill.  You decide...Do It Your Way!


Mini Challenge #2 (Week 10, Apr 4th-Apr 10th) - 'Lincoln's Empire State Building Climb'  The famed run is 86 floors or 1,576 steps.  You can take as long as you need but it must be completed in one go.  You can complete the climb on any stair machine.  It does have to be a machine for this challenge because only the 'up' counts!


Mini Challenge #3 (Week 11, Apr 11th-Apr 17th) - 'Ride to Omaha' We will call it 50 miles on the bike and you can break it up during the week.  These miles can be from a Spin class, a stationary bike or outside on the road!
